Previous positions include (i) General Counsel, Company Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer at NBC Global Finance Limited, a proprietary trading firm authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland and a London Stock Exchange member firm (ii) Corporate and Treasury Solicitor at Bank of Ireland (BOI) where his main responsibilities included advising BOI Group Treasury and BOI Global Markets on a range of debt capital markets transactions and associated regulatory reform. and (iii)  working in private practice in Dublin for Dillon Eustace and Maples and Calder.

He is a Chartered Company Secretary and an Associate (ACIS) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is admitted as (i) a Solicitor in Ireland and England and Wales and (ii) an Attorney at Law to the New York Bar.  

                                                                

In addition, Ian has served in a variety of Non-Executive Director, Chair and Board Advisory positions within financial services and other sectors. He has also performed a variety of regulated positions on an interim basis for firms in Ireland (CCO, CRO, MLRO).
